I would like to share my experiences with social phobia. I find
that certain things have helped over the years. One is reading
psychology books, to get more insight. Second is I went sport
parachuting twice, so that every time I am afraid to speak up, I just
imagine standing in the door waiting for the signal to jump. Third, I
find that alcohol, in moderation, is useful for curing the jitters.
Fourth, I am a firm believer in group therapy and also cognitive
therapy.
