I have no problem at all acknowledging that working with
dynamic data is more complicated in C than it is in C++. What
have I written that makes you think I have an issue with that?
I have strong objections to your claim that data hiding and
encapsulation are techniques which are disliked by C-hackers.
C is a simpler language than C++. A knife is simpler
than a food processor. It is more difficult to chop
a carrot with a knife than with a food processor. It
is more difficult to do certain things in C than in C++,
precisely because it is a simpler language. "Simpler"
does not mean "easier to use".
