That's a great sign of what *might* be happening right now -- there
has been a strong low pressure system over the north Atlantic the last
18-24 hours, with air currents coming directly from Iceland/Greenalnd
to eastern Newfoundland. There *could* be an influx of European/
Icelandic birds arriving here right about now -- so birders keep your
eyes open! Check fields for plover and shorebirds, unusual geese and
even swans. More wheatears should be expected in coastal areas of the
east & northeast.
'Tis the season - for Euro vagrants.
