Cape Race bust |

A careful search by Julie and me, and lighthousekeeper Cliff Doran,
failed to turn up any Wheatears at Cape race today. There were no
Euro Plovers or Back-tailed Godwits either there or at Long Beach
either. The only compensation came in the form of 3 Harlequin Ducks
( one a stunning adult male) and a few lingering Purple Sandpipers at
Cape Race.
Ah well, there's always tomorrow!
